Muslims are Stupid and Uncivilized

What do you think when you read the title at the first time? angry? wroth? calm down buddy, please take a cup of hot tea first, and just enjoy and read keenly what i really want to share with you exactly.

I often heard non-muslim people, foreigners especially, talking about Islam, and as a muslim I am not really happy because the topics that they talked about mostly were just the negative ones and they really got it wrong actually. But if I have to be objective, we as muslim people can not simply blame on them because we created their negative judgement by ourselves. Let me ask you, can you name a muslim scientist who invents something big lately? where is in this earth we can see riot easily, Europe? North America? or in Middle East, the place that most of muslim countries exist? what nations in this world which to be listed in the top ten developed countries, is there any single muslim country on that list? I was born and grew up in Indonesia, the country with the largest muslim people around the world, and let me tell you how do they live in their daily lives.

Islam as the largest religion in Indonesia takes a dominant role in our lives. For example, we get more than a week of holiday if idul fitri comes, much more than any other religions feast, every single TV station in this country has to take a break and broadcast adzan when maghrib time comes to tell everybody to leave their activities for a while and pray to God. We get enough education of Islam in school, the teachers teach us to do only good things and leave behind every single things that God doesn't want us to do. A muslim has to pray five times a day, from the dawn that sun just came out from east, till the night before we take a sleep after doing so many things during daytime. With shalat, Islam always reminds us to do only good things, and prohibits us to commit any sins. But if Islam teaches us that good, how come most of us are still far away from ideal life as non-muslims in western world have? the wrong things is in ourselves, not in our religion. Islam is a perfect religion in my own opinion especially, islam loves discipline, hardworking, peace, tolerance, and every other good things. let me quote some verses from holy koran and hadith :

"Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly. "(60:8) 

"whoever fights against kafir dzimmi, i will be their foe in the judgement day" (narrated by muslim)

kafir dzimmi refers to non-muslims who don't have hatred with muslim, Islam is really tolerant with non-muslims actually, but today, stupid muslims love show off, defend our religion arrogantly with attacking people that we consider to be the ones who don't give any respect to Islam. Also, Just for your information, when European people were still in the dark ages, muslims had lived in highly developed economy instead, they always did zakat every year but hardly to shared it because they didn't find poor people easily just like we do nowadays, it proves that if we really obey and do what our religion teach to us correctly, we should not live in this pathetic condition anyway. 

To be honest, only few of us do what Islam teaches us to do, most of us are rubbish nowadays, we want to be respected but have no respect to other people, we promise with saying Insha Allah but don't fulfill it purposely, always late in every occasions because it already becomes our habit. How did a country such as New Zealand could be one of the most developed county in the world anyway? because they do what Islam teaches us muslim people to do, they do love discipline, they do love hardworking, peace, tolerance, and also, they hate late, there is no tolerance with people who come late in purpose. Today muslim people, especially in Indonesia are Stupid, we are lazy and uncivilized, come late to the office or school is a common thing, if you have an appoinment with us, don't come on time because we hate come on time. Why did i say we are uncivilized people? because we love using religion to be our excuse, read the holy koran in the midnight with noisy speaker without thinking our non-muslim neighbours will be feeling bothered or not, we are still busy for debating is a woman good enough to riding a motorcycle straddle when NASA at almost the same time has succsesfully landed The Curiosity in Mars to explore this planet if it livable or not, Islam is not stupid but muslim people nowadays are, we are stupid and uncivilized and we should change it, don't be rubbish.

68 Tahun Merdeka, Indon atau Indonesia?

Nyaris tujuh dekade sudah Bangsa Indonesia berdiri dengan kakinya sendiri. Genap 68 tahun silam kita memproklamirkan diri sebagai bangsa yang telah bebas dari bule-bule tengil Eropa dan saudara beda Ibu tapi lain Bapak, atau yang lebih dikenal dengan nama Jepang. begitulah tulisan-tulisan yang tertulis di buku-buku sejarah yang penulis baca ketika penulis masih duduk manis di bangku sekolah dulu, ketika penulis masih muda.

sebelum berpidato lebih jauh, izinkan penulis memberikan ulasan singkat tentang sejarah kedatangan bangsa-bangsa tengil atau yang lebih akrab disapa penjajah ke bumi pertiwi. meski lama dijajah menir-menir Belanda, tapi sebetulnya Bangsa Eropa yang pertama kali menginjakkan kaki di nusantara adalah portugal. Ya benar, negeri di mana kakak kandung penulis (red Cristiano Ronaldo) lahir dan dibesarkan. orang-orang Portugis pertama kali datang ke Maluku pada tahun 1509, namun pada tahun 1595 mereka terpaksa angkat kaki (bukan angkat koper, karena pada zaman itu koper belum ditemukan) dari bumi Maluku. setelah bule Portugis datang, Indonesia lalu berturut-turut digilir oleh orang Spanyol, Belanda, Inggris dan Jepang. Baru pada 68 tahun yang lalu, Indonesia resmi menanggalkan statusnya dari negeri terjajah menjadi negeri yang merdeka. Lebih dari empat abad, atau terhitung dari kedatangan nenek moyang Jose Mourinho ke Maluku untuk pertama kalinya, Indonesia sudah kenyang dengan pahit getirnya penjajahan. Berturut-turut nenek moyang kita dijajah oleh bangsa yang bahkan bahasanya pun tidak ada yang mirip dengan bahasa yang biasa nenek kita gunakan sehari-hari. Ibarat pepatah, bangsa kita saat itu sudah jatuh, tertimpa tangga, dikejar anjing, ketabrak mobil lalu dihajar masa, itulah sulitnya kehidupan orang tua kita pada zaman dahulu. 

Pada abad 21, kita sudah tidak mengenal lagi dengan apa yang disebut imperialisme, hal yang dulu marak terjadi di negara-negara Asia dan Afrika. Namun harus diakui, kita masih belum benar-benar terbebas dari apa yang disebut penjajahan. Setelah bule-bule Eropa pulang kampung ke negara masing-masing, kita masih dibuat merana oleh penjajahan yang dilakukan oleh saudara sendiri, bukan dijajah oleh Eropa atau Jepang, tapi oleh bangsa Indon! Definisi Indon jelas berbeda dengan Indonesia. Menurut Kamus Besar Bahasa Penulis, Indon adalah sekumpulan bangsa pemalas, penyembah jam karet dan penikmat uang haram. Sebetulnya, definisi yang terakhir masih menjadi perdebatan karena sampai detik ini MUI masih kesulitan memberi label halal untuk setiap lembar uang yang diterbitkan BI. Jika mau jujur masih banyak ciri-ciri Indon yang bisa dengan mudah kita jumpai di sekitar kita, namun perlu waktu panjang untuk mendefinisikan orang-orang ini dengan sedetil-detilnya. 

Lebih dari setengah abad harga diri kita diinjak-injak oleh orang-orang Indon, yang lucunya kita sendiri yang memilih mereka untuk menjadi pemimpin kita, dan selama itu pula kebiasaan buruk mereka lambat laun menular dan mendarah daging dalam diri kita. banyak dari kita yang memuja kedisiplinan orang-orang Jepang, namun kita masih setia dan mendewakan jam karet, memuji keindahan Eropa, tapi kita masih giat untuk membuang sampah tidak pada tempatnya. Penulis ingin mengajak dan menyadarkan teman-teman pembaca bahwa orang muda dan pintar di negeri ini sangat berlimpah, tinggal bagaimana kita memaksimalkan potensi ini. Memang saat ini kita masih tertinggal dibanding katakanlah Malaysia, kita kalah dari populasi koruptor apalagi dari segi ekonomi. Ibarat duel, jangan pertarungkan secara langsung Chris John dengan Mike Tyson, terlalu jauh. Tapi dengan determinasi dan perbaikan di segala lini, penulis percaya suatu hari nanti giliran kita yang memanggil Malaysia dengan sebutan Yesterday Afternoon Boy atau yang biasa disebut Anak Kemarin Sore. Jadi mulai detik ini, mulailah dari diri sendiri, hilangkan pelan-pelan sifat buruk orang Indon, tunjukkan pada mereka bahwa Indon dan Indonesia itu beda, dengan demikian kita bisa dengan bangga berkata bahwa Indon akan segera punah dari bumi nusantara. Buktikan dengan perbuatan nyata, tampar mereka yang mengejek kita dengan prestasi, kita lahir dan hidup di atas bumi pertiwi, Indonesia! Bukan Indon.

Dirgahajoe Negara Kesatoean Repoeblik Indonesia! Merdeka!
